Four worlds intersect in my work: the human figure, the landscape, the city, and the water. My painting evolves through different surfaces and through an ongoing search for composition, where color, gesture, and structure become the essential elements of the image. In the urban works, I explore the relationship between light, architecture, and layered spatial construction, while in the human-centered works, figure and space are brought into a shared equilibrium. In the landscapes and waterscapes, the image shifts toward a more abstract language, where movement, flow, and trace become central. Across all four series, I am interested in how composition can convey sensation as much as image, and how surface, color, and trace can create an experience of space, movement, and time.
