In Human Scapes the face becomes a primary field of observation. In smaller works I focus closely on the gaze and the subtle shifts of expression, using acrylic on canvas to register tension, fragility and quiet intensity. In larger paintings, the figure opens into its surroundings: space and body are treated as one continuous surface, where color and gesture bind the person to the atmosphere around them. These works are less about likeness and more about how presence occupies and charges space.
